DAY ELEVENYay salzburg! Mozart's birthplace and this was where they filmed Sound of Music. Sadly, the town has become rather commercialised so it lost a little of its natural beauty. There were alot of Mozart stuff and stalls there. I bought Mary-Anne's souvenir from there :D

Sorry, my brother is the king of pigs.

Pretty garden.

The statue is holding a violin :D
After we left salzburg, we took a whole day drive to koln, Germany. We spent the night there at the ibis hotel (:

DAY TEN I am jetlagging very very badly. I cannot sleep and I take my lunch at 4pm, dinner at 10pm and breakfast at 11am. So day ten! We had continental breakfast at the hotel and set off towards neuschwenstein. In case you're wondering why it sounds so familiar, this is the castle that inspired Disneyland so yupp.
When we got there, the lanes were covered with horse shit. Yes, it stank to high heaven. My grandparents took the horse carriage since it was a really steep climb up to the castle. Did you know King Ludwig built this castle in honour of Wagner? He loved his operas. So the whole place had alot of decor that were related to the operas. The opera theatre is brilliant as well.

A 3 hour car ride can get very very boring yknow.

One of those little streams which did not freeze.

Beautiful castle. No photography of any form allowed in the castle though so I can't show you the interior. King Ludwig didn't finish building the castle btw, he was deemed mentally unfit to rule and died under suspicious circumstances in a nearby river.

Without the snow, the castle is really quite colourful.

look at the scenery, don't look at my brother.

Oops i forgot to rotate, again. Great angle.

The horse carriage. The horses were damn huge by the way.

A picture perfect ending to the day.
We had dinner at a petrol station stop. I had eine kleine spaghetti carbonara und parmesan. We managed to drive to salzburg where we checked into an ibis hotel.

DAY NINESo we woke up and had a great breakfast. We left Germany and drove through Switzerland. We stopped at a petrol pump and played with snow at its backyard.

Right, why is my grandpa attempting to eat the snow!?

Yes, its just a blanket of white there.

Hahaha preparing to throw a snowball at my sister!
Then we dropped over at the sempacher lake to take photos.

Yay then we stopped over at another highway stop for my dad to take a break from driving for hours on end. Here in singapore, Marche is some branded super expensive and high class eating place. In Germany, its just a convenience store.
Love the Christmas tree, its real by the way.

Oh look, do we have this dustbin in singapore?

Hahaha the cows in singapore are cuter.
Looks as if this whole place has been imported into singapore aye?
Then we drove to schaan, lieichenstein. We couldn't find a suitable hotel there so we drove again to austria, feldkirch. We found da mario hotel. We had dinner there, they served italian food and it was good! My sister ordered the biggest plate of us all, what a pig. This hotel didn't have individual toilets in each room though. So we all had to bathe in a common bathroom and use a common toilet. I bathed with my sister cause we were both really scared.

At least we had a tap in the room

We were bored, again.

DAY EIGHTSo we woke up in Saarbrucken and had a wunnerful German breakfast. Germany is great, the people here are really nice and NOBODY stares at our yellow jacket. After 2 and a half years of waiting, i've finally got a chance to practise my German only to find out that the people here are just as fluent in English as they are in German. How bilingual. Ha! The french have alot to catch up on, bleh -sticks out tongue at them.
After breakfast, we drove to Heiderburg where we found the ruined castle, I don't know its name. It was destroyed during the bombings during WWII.

I'm not sure if you can see that the building has collapsed somewhere infront.

Okay look at the collapsed thingy. Saddening, it was such a beautiful castle.

Hahaha the British like red while the Germans like yellow :D

I don't know whats that.

Oh look ancient herbs!

Up on the castle grounds.

The view from the top, beautiful aye?
Anyway after the castle thingy we drove to another town, Karlsruhe. We found hotel Aviva. It's a really new hotel and is actually damn high class. But my mum managed to get a good discount since we are their VERY FIRST customer. wow right? I loved that hotel the most. They provided free nail files! Which I didn't know how to use, but whatever.

Two single beds which my brother, sister and I slept on.

My parents bed.

Okay I forgot to rotate the picture again. Look! They provided a microwave oven so we can microwave food if we want.
So then we had Macdonalds for dinner again. And then we came back to the hotel while my parents went to drive around in search for a launderette. Here's what you get when the big brother takes too long to bathe and leaves two sisters in the room with a camera whilst they wait for him to get out of the bathroom.

Playing with the camera timer.

Siao.

My neck is too long for my head dontcha think?

DAY SEVEN So we woke up in Paris and the hotel didn't provide breakfast. We took the train to the same shopping centre as yesterday where we had chinese food since its cheaper than any other food. The meal amounted to 70euros in total, daylight robbery. What's more, the place was supposed to be for chinese take aways so service was so so and there were barely enough tables for us to sit down and take our meal.

Some baskers in the train station. They sounded really good.
We then headed straight for the Louvre Museum. I wish we had spent longer there, but we were in a rush for time. We spent about 2hours there, only visiting Mona Lisa and the Egyptian collection.

These were taken outside the Louvre Museum.
Mona Lisa was tinier than I had imagined
No flash photography allowed. So I had to make sure I didn't smile too brilliantly, or I'll dazzle everyone else and get accused for flash photography.

I didn't understand the signs, and this sign was so tiny I didn't notice it. Which explains why we took half an hour to find Mona Lisa.

Ooooh looook she has his head on a platter, gruesome.

I like the feet.

Darn I forgot to rotate the picture.

I like the statue.
I like Egyptian mummies :D
Finally my family decided to get out of stupid France and we drove to Germany. I got a huge headache on the way there and threw up after dinner. We managed to check into Meran hotel where we stayed for pretty reasonable rates. The hotel had a really cool lift which had a manual door. It's one of those old fashioned lifts. Damn cool. I'll upload the video of it next time.

DAY SIXYay okay so we woke up in our van with cramped legs and all freezing since the temperature was -2 degrees celcius and we couldn't on the engine when we were sleeping. Drove around just outside the city centre to look for an affordable hotel. Alas, at 10am, we checked into ibis hotel where at least the receptionist could speak english (or was willing to speak english, most are too proud of their own language to do so)
We dumped our luggages and set off towards the nearby train station (it was a really long walk in the blistering cold) Bought train tickets which cost a bomb again. If I'm not wrong they cost us 35 euros in total? That's S$70, gosh. So we took the train to some sort of shopping centre and had macdonalds for lunch. Well, it was the only affordable thing there! And even so, lunch cost us 30 euros (S$60), it hurts to even think about it ouch.

Poor dad, he was exhuasted. After all, he drove till 2am at night and couldn't even catch a wink.

The view out of the train window. Their train is double decker by the way, pretty cool but awfully dirty. And it's not just because I hate France right now, it was really dirty. The corners of the cabin had cigarette stubs, sweet wrappers, and I even thought I saw a discarded tampon once eew!

This was what I had.

This is a Macdonald product that is only available in France. It's called the Le M'

This is the packaging.

Oh their big mac loooks the same as ours, no surprise there

My sister is a pig.
Anyway after macdonalds, we walked around outside the shopping centre abit, we took photos with a building which we thought was notre dame but then we found out it was not after we left the area -.-

All smiles (:

Sorry, I was making a face at the dirt on the ground over in the corner.

Notre Dame Cathedral? Nope, I don't know what this building is.

That's my sister, not me. I'm not that short :D
Ohyeah, the French are even worse than the British. They stare at our yellow jackets without caring that its a very rude thing to do. They continue to stare even when we stare back. Everyone there is so boring, jackets are either black or black. How totally creative. Nevermind staring, some even snigger at us openly. Cmon, you don't have to judg everyone by their clothes yknow.
After that, we took the train again to the Eiffel Tower.

The sign outside that said EiffelTour

Taken from the lift that we took all the way to the highest station. We couldn't see anything from way up there anyway, the fog was too serious.

At the 2nd highest station.

My sister seems tall ONLY because she was wearing boots. I was wearing sports shoes. I'm still taller okay.

I am a one-eyed monster hear me roar.

My brother actually wanted a solo photo with the Eiffel Tower, but looks like he can't have one with my sister and I around! :D
We then took the train back to our hotel. But somehow the train keeps skipping our stop. No matter how many times we got off the train and tried the next one and yadda. How annoying, apparently the train skips certain stations once its past seven pm so that the train system would be more efficient and less time consuming. Stupid system. Hmph.
We had Crossiants and other pastries for dinner which we bought from the nearby supermarket at our hotel. I detest France.

DAY FIVEWoke up in canterbury and drove around the town. This is the wall surrounding the Canterbury Cathedral.

Off to dover where we took a ferry to calais, France.

Our luggages! Such typical Asians, we had to have colourful luggages :D
We got off at calais and had trouble trying to rent a car enough for seven people. In the end, we rented a manual van. My poor dad had trouble communicating with the French cause they didn't speak English and refused to print the contract in English even though they could. They didn't teach my dad how to access the gears in the van so my dad kept driving and braking, and the van kept sputtering out poisonous gases. /:
Finally, we managed to make it to the town of Reims but somehow, we couldn't find a hotel. They looked at us and told us their hotel waas fully booked. Either they're racists or Reims is just a tourist hot spot in the blistering cold winter. We had no choice, so we tried to get out of the town. But somehow, because of the road works all around, no matter how we drove we kept ending up at the same damn roundabout. The statue of a bat in the middle seemed to be mocking us with its mouth wide open. We were so freaked out, we took 2 hours to find our way out of the town. Apparently the road we took to get into the town was a one way street so we couldn't get out the same way... Eventually, we reached a second roundabout but kept circling round it as well. No matter where we turned we ended up at this roundabout as well. In the end, we realised the only road that we hadn't tried pointed to the "cemeterie". Great. We gave up and turned back to the one way road that we came in by and just turned out back onto the highway.
We then headed to Paris and reached at 2am in the morning. Instead of wasting money trying to check into a hotel, we slept in the van for that night.

DAY FOURWe woke up, had traditional english breakfast at Swandown and had fun scraping ice off our car! We drove to Roman bath where we saw this bath that the Romans created for themselves back in 700 A.C. i think. It was really ingenius as they had a supply of hot water running from a nearby hot spring flowing right into the bath. The bath isn't really as hot as it looks, its only 47 degrees celcius. Its steaming only because of the awfully cold weather. The water is really dirty though, after all these years, all thanks to the abundant sunlight which resulted in the rapid growth of algae, leading to eutrophication.

Yes, I tied my hair in two ponytails in an attempt to cover my poor freezing ears :D

After that, we drove all the way to one of the eight wonders of the world (In case you're wondering what the eighth wonder is, you've been living on the wrong planet. The eighth wonder is me of course, well duh :D) Yes, we went to see the STONEHENGE! It was smaller than I imagined actually, but then again I have very high expectations.

Aww this was taken at sunset at around 4pm. Pretty ain't it?
After stonehenge, we headed for the town of canterbury. So we programmed canterbury into my father's GPS navigation system and chose a lane at random. We all thought magnolia lane sounded like something you would find near the city so we started off. We neared canterbury at 7pm and the skies were real dark, as if it was midnight. To top it off, the roads were not lighted so the only source of light was from our car's frontlights. Suddenly, the GPS system told us to turn right, out of the highway and into a little lane. We thought maybe canterbury was a small town so the road leading into it is small and narrow too, so we turned right in. For twenty minutes, we travelled on the rocky narrow lane designed for only ONE car to drive through and didn't see a single soul. We didn't see any cottages, any farms nor any other vehicles. As we went along, the road started narrowing and we felt as if the trees at the sides of the roads were closing in on us. It was really terrifying, like a horror movie. The road just kept narrowing and the trees started growing taller such that they started to cover the night sky above us. That's it, we were trapped. Thank goodness the road didn't end up in a dead end whew. Finally, we turned into a slightly wider road and found ourselves surrounded by farms. There were still no streetlights but at least we were not alone anymore. We realised we were in the rural outskirts of the town of canterbury. The GPS system had led us to magnolia lane, only that magnolia lane was not near the city centre like we had assumed, it was a road in the rural areas of the town. We managed to ask some people and found our way to the city centre. There, we managed to find a really nice supposedly five star hotel for a cheap rate of only 130pounds per night (S$270). We ate at a thai food restaurant(it was the only restaurant open besides some expensive chinese restaurants)at 8pm. It was a really great hotel so we had a good sleep and bath.

My sister stole the limelight hmph.

The car park, our car is the one in the foreground (:

they gave free hot chocolate!!!

Great bathroom!

She's mad as a hatter -.-

The awesome lady who served us our english breakfast on day five. Breakfast was mouth-wateringly delicious!

DAY TWOWoke up in the hotel and had continental breakfast which consisted of toast butter and tea, fullstop. I was kinda hoping for English breakfast but oh well. After breakfast we drove past Buckingham palace in an effort to get a glimpse of it. But oops we didn't know it was a restricted zone so tada we landed ourselves with an even heavier traffic fine. Technically, we paid 120 pounds (S$250) to see this:

and this:

After that, we drove out of London to the town of Cambridge where Cambridge University is located (well duh). It's a really nice place. We had a really expensive lunch there, we walked into the wrong restaurant by accident. Don't ask how we achieved that, it just happened. But at least the food and service was good so (:

This was taken right outside one of the side gates of Cambridge University. When we were strolling on the streets of the town we saw so many youths. And with every youth that walks past me, I can't help feeling so stupid because ordinary as they seem they're all so bloody smart!
Oh yeah that reminds me, the yellow jacket gave me alot of trouble over there. It was a jacket that my brother wore back when he was twelve and we went to Beijing during winter. So I just took it since I didn't want to waste money to get another winter jacket although i knew it was awfully hideous. Trouble is, yellow is the official colour for traffic police, rubbish collectors and all sorts of weird jobs there. Our jackets SORT OF resemble theirs but ours has the black stuff which attracted alot of attention. They probably thought we were the new roadsweepers or something. How totally embarassing. They stared, but were polite enough not to stare too long. Wait till I get to the post on Paris, people there are sooo annoying!
After that we drove to the town of oxford where the University of Oxford was located (well duh again) and spent a night there. We got a nice bed&breakfast place and I had a real good bath. It was a little more expensive though, around 180 pounds for one night (S$400). We reached at night so we had dinner at the nearby macdonalds. We seem to eat macdonalds alot on this whole trip :D Here's a few photos we took the next morning.
DAY THREE

Yes, the pig sleeping in light blue jeans on the right is me, now shut up.

Da toilet!

Who woke me up!?

They provided internet for us to use in the common space downstairs :D

Pretty little cottage that we stayed in. We took the attic while our grandparents took the ground floor.
Yupp we drove around Oxford and snapped a few photos. Again, many students on the streets and I felt so inferior again.

A view of Oxford University from far far away teehee.

Laughing at ourselves whilst the local people there stared at us curiously. Bet they thought we were as mad as cat in the hat! I mean, who takes photos with a post box, seriously! :D Hahaha but my parents said that very same post box was there 20 years ago when they visited so it held sentimental value for them.
We then managed to pay the traffic fines through our car rental company and proceeded to Anne Hathaway's cottage. Yes, at first I thought it was the actress at first. Y'know, Anne Hathaway

But nope, its not this Anne Hathaway. It was Shakespeare's wife's cottage so taadaa!

I thought these rotten apples were cute. You don't get to see apples strewn on the ground below a tree in singapore!
Oh look, wooden dustbin! :D
After that we went to the county town of Warwickshire. We visited the Warwick castle there, I took a video of the wax figures in the castle, I'll put that up next time. The whole place was really nice and ancient. We climbed exactly 550 steps to the top of the watch tower where they had funny little holes in the wall in the shape of a cross where the medieval soldiers placed their crossbows. Damn I don't have any photos of Warwick castle but I have a few photos taken while we were in that town (:

They like red alot in Britain.

The infamous red telephone box woohoo

I think it was some sort of cathedral.
We then drove to swindon where we found another bed&breakfast. This one was not as good as before, but okay enough I guess. 130 pounds in total for one night (S$300). I think it was called swandown, what a stupid name. We ate chinese food for dinner at a nearby restaurant, its way cheaper than eating their local food actually. About 5 pounds (S$12) for each for a bowl of noodles / a plate of ___ rice. Well, its expensive since the kind of food we get is like hawker centre standard and the place was sort of like a kfc ambience. Pathetic really, but I guess it was better than paying 8 pounds (S$17) for a plate of fish and chips at a similar restaurant.

Hey all, I'm back from London! It's time for you to rejoice :D Anyway I shall blog about the past 15 days that I spent in Europe! Shall try to fill it up with as many pictures as possible since a picture says a thousand words! (Yay then I can type less teehee) I won't be able to put up videos we've taken right now though, but I'll put them up as soon as my dad uploads them into the computer. It might take quite a while though. Anyway shan't bore you with my incessant chatter (though some people feel that I talk funny ever since I've got back), here goes:
DAY ONE Arrived at Changi airport and everyone in the family came to send us off, how sweet! Took the plane from Singapore to Dubai and Emirates has the best entertainment system in store I tell you! There were over a hundred movies to choose from, over a hundred music albums to listen to, about a hundred tv channels to watch etcetra etcetera. Lemme see if I can find a photo.

Oh this was a photo of the tv screens showing the flight times. Notice that almost all the flights are Emirates!

I think it was my brother who took this. Tsk whatever for, I do not know. Anyway enjoy my back profile!

Its a little blur but thats the Airbus 380 that we took, pretty cool aye?

The entertainment system, they call it ICE (Info, Communications, Entertainment)I loved it, and I remember wishing for the flight to last longer. They serve pretty good food too! I watched Ghost Town, Walle and Maid of Honour :D
The flight from Dubai to London arrived late so we were running late. Rented a car from Avis called the Espace I think. It's a seven seater and fitted the seven of us snugly. Then we rushed to our prebooked hotel, I can't remember its name, darn! Got caught in their traffic congestion, fined for not paying their ERP (we didn't know till the 3rd day!) but I guess we got there in the end. Here's a few photos:

Da toilet!

A view of the hotel room. Not much, I know but we were going budget and it was enough for us (:
After that, we left for dinner and it was late at night already. I mean it was still early, like 6.30pm, but the sky was DARK. Took their train to City centre and their train was pretty good! Not as clean as singapore's MRT of course, but not too bad. Just a few newspapers strewn behind the seats here and there but not much rubbish. They are allowed to eat on the train by the way! So its pretty impressive considering that they do not need fines to be imposed on them for them to keep their own train clean.
But this is also the reason why I love singapore:

If I can get lost in singapore... I cannot live in London. Just look at that! Mind-boggling!
Anyway train tickets cost us a jaw dropping 30 pounds for the 7 of us and thats like S$65 approximately. Then we visited the Big Ben and River Thames yay, it was very nicely lighted up at night :D

Sorry, couldn't be bothered to rotate the picture so :D

This was supposed to be a picture of our grandparents and us but this guy was walking along and managed to take a nice little photo with us hahaha. Whats more, he happened to be standing in line with us and smiling so I guess we've got an addition to our family!
After big ben and the London eye (It's the london ferris wheel, why does singapore keep copying london!?) we headed back towards our hotel where we had a nice dinner at a small eatery place. I had a tuna jacket potato and it was really yummy. Pretty cheap too, about 3.5 pounds (S$7.50). That's quite cheap for london food.

OLEVELS IS FINALLY O-O-O-OVER! (sings Jesse Mccartney)
Hahaha we went
mad after chemistry today, went right to cathay to buy our movie tickets for HSM 3. Yes yes, I know embarassing, but the movie was hilarious! It's so horribly cheesy, it felt like I was consuming cheesy pizza with double cheese (oooh, how sinful). Troy Bolton's big face at the beginning was just the thing, stupid Chiaern giggled right next to me and my chair was shakinggg! Vanessa Hudgens is really horrendous. Corbin Bleu was cool, Ashley Tisdale was well Ashley Tisdale. But I absolutely adore Lucas Grabeel (Ryan Evans)! His dancing is real good! But overall, the whole movie was real good cause it was almost sort of like Broadway with all the scene changing and sets!
Oh that reminds me, YueXiu, if you even see this, I WANT TO WATCH WESTSIDE STORYYY!
Okay I need to get Demi Lovato's CD tomorrow, I've been waiting since like September! And I shall stop being so laotu and create myown facebook account. Sheesh, even my sis has one, and she's always going crazy over some game called pets society.
I'll miss Amanda when she goes overseas tomorrow. Oh wait correction, I'll miss Amanda's books (not boobs, they are non existent)& comics! Darn I should have asked her to bring the whole collection today then I wouldn't have to wait till after prom to read! I WANT JODI PICOULTTT!
I miss hanging out with yellows, so I can't wait for Friday! Good luck MARY-ANNE/WENMAN/SUXIAN/WENGJUN/SUEHERN for biology mcq tomorrow! All the wayyyy <3
Teehee movies at Chiaern's tomorrow!!! Across the universe, I wonder what its about. I am going to create my facebook account now.
REMINDER CHIAERN (IF YOU EVEN SEE THIS): I WANT TO GO CHINATOWN AND YOU ARE SO GOING WITH ME. DON'T FORGET MY FAVOURITE HANGOUT, THE LIBARY, I WANT TO BORROW BOOKS. I DON'T LIKE THE BOOKS I BORROWED TODAY, THEY ARE LIKE SHORT STORIES I DIDN'T REALISE.
Call me weird, but I feel like sewing my own prom dress. I don't feel like wasting days on end, walking around to find something suitable and then paying a bomb for it.
Oh wait, facebook. Tata.

Today I went to watch Prince Caspian with Xun-Lin and it was damn super good, I want to watch it again and again! Hahaha I thought Peter was very good looking and Xun-Lin just gave me that "What's wrong with you" look ): I think I'm strange, I don't find Caspian good looking, and he speaks with a queer accent. But whatever the ending was so sad, any other narnia movies will be so strange without Susan and Peter!
Okay before that we went to HMV and I listened to Jesse Mccartney's new album on the headphones and I didn't like half the songs :O Hahaha and yes, Jesse McCartney co-wrote Bleeding Love, talented right!
Anna met us at like 11.40am she was so late! Tsk, next time we shall tell her to come half hour before everybody else. Xun-Lin bought MUSE CDs what the hell, even though she has like all the songs already. She just wanted to possess the CD. And this is what I call the definition of rich.
Anyway after that we ate KFC hehehe! (I always get my way, I realise everytime I want to eat KFC, I usually do get to eat it) Service was really bad, the 2 ladies at the counter were so blur, and we were missing half our meal tsk. Same goes for the table of guys next to us, and this stupidly annoying guy was making a joke of himself by telling his friends about how he has customer rights to yell and shout and complain. -.- I almost spat my zinger burger out at one point of time :D
Oh on a sidenote, right before the movie, I suddenly remembered I haven't called NJC to confirm my attendance. So I called my sis to get the number and then I called them up. Hilarious, at first she scolded me for not calling earlier because today was the dateline and the lady in-charge was away for lunch. So I had to explain I've been trying to call through for 2 days and yadda but she continued giving me that "it's your fault" tone.
Next, she told me to call back later and since I had a movie to catch, I said "Er, I'm so sorry I can't, I've got lessons later" so she got really annoyed and said "Okay girl, this is not good, you cannot have this kind of attitude. What's your school? I help you take down first then tell the lady later" So obviously, I answered St Nicholas. That seemed to have cast a spell on her or something, she started using a really nice and sweet voice to talk to me. And she suddenly seemed to have my entire life written infront of her. She started asking whether I like violin or piano better, why I took ballet, whether music is my life and the list of crap goes on.
Oh that reminds me, on the MRT trip back the stupid train stopped at Bishan for like TWENTY minutes because there was something wrong with the track. Then this 3 CJC guys boarded and they were so stinky, everyone tried to stand as far as possible. But it was nearly impossible because the train was real cram. And then they started announcing their jokes to the whole wide world. Hahaha what's worse, since I was standing next to them, they expected me to laugh at their jokes. So after like a vast amount of lame jokes, they stared at me and one guy said "Do you have no sense of humour!?" Oh goodness. I wanted to run out of the train then.
Oh ahahah, that again, reminds me of my MRT trip to Orchard today. I was doing my sudoku book and the guy sitting next to me was staring. So I just ignored him. And then I got stuck on my sudoku puzzle, so I was sitting and pondering for about a minute and then he went "you put a three there" and jabs his finger at my book. I was shocked, hahaha thinking back, I should have said "Buy your own sudoku book"
Okay AMK Library with Lianna, Chiaern & Amanda tomorrow! I shall aim to finish at least 1 paper of my chinese homework! Now I feel like sleeping, no wonder I can never do work at home /:

I've been meaning to change my blogskin for ages, but I haven't really got down to doing it. Hahaha, I think its because I can't find anything / think of anything that i would like for my blogskin.
Anyway, went score hunting with wengjun today! I can't believe I survived 4 hours with her, horror of horrors. I bought Elgar's Salut D'Amour score! Bloody hell it was $19 (w/0 gst) while my other technical studies book (which was much thicker) was like $10. But I really needed it so /:
After that, met Mary-Anne at J8 for lunch and we ate pastamania (hahah again). I bought a sudoku book! & we went to the library to borrow books. I couldn't find any of my "dark & disturbing" books so I settled for WengJun's bitchy books. -.-
I can't study at home, there's no motivation and inspiration ): I really want to study with yellows, although I know we probably won't get any work done ohman. On a side note, they're the people I see most often this holidays!
Okay anyway I found the funny gymnopodie by satie score online for free hehehe and my jaw dropped when I saw it. It's like damn easy, so my piano pieces are going to be such a contrast! I mean, I'm playing a grade 8 Beethoven Classical Sonata and a grade3 (?) Satie Romantic Gymnopodie!?
Okay I'm talking too much music lately, stop it. Okay Prince Caspian with Xun-Lin tomorrow, and then I'll be officially bankrupt again OHMAN! Hahaha anyway YueXiu will be getting me the new Jesse Mccartney CD for my birthday! Heh she's so nice :D
I really need to start doing my chinese homework, but everytime I try, I wake up and find myself on the table / sofa. Gross, oh that reminds me! I'm damn super happy with my recent geography test (ohmygod my first distinction in 2 years) although I have an inkling that Miss Tan was just being nice and marked our papers more leniently cause the morale among the geog students is damn super low.
Talking to Amanda now, who's taking very long to respond (SLOW) and Mary-Anne who is not responding at all (GRR). Hahaha this is the kind of friends I get tsk!
Homework ): Revision ): MEP ): O Levels ):

I just got back from violin lesson and damn am I disappointed /: I did a really good job of my Vivaldi impetus passage but all my teacher did was give a grunt and start commenting about dynamics at the front of the songgg. Rah grah I practised that passage really hard!!!
& He was talking about how I shouldn't play so roughly etc. Hahaha, WengChen is bad influence tsk!
Anyway I took the bus many times today. Let's count:
1. From school to AMK central
2. From AMK central to ACSI
3. From ACSI to Macs at King Albert's Park (or something like that)
4. From Macs to AMK hub
5. From AMK hub to home
6. From home to AMK hub (and then walk to violin teacher's house)
7. From AMK hub back home (after violin lesson)
And that is a grand total of 55cents times 7 = WOW $3.85.
I can almost buy a KFC student meal with that!!!
Oh and I swear I'm the clumsiest ass ever (apart from Mary-Anne of course). I tripped twice on the stairs at macs. I tumbled right off the bus when I got home and landed with a "WHOAAA" at the bus stop. That kinda earned me a couple of weird looks from the people at the bus stops and a few sniggers from toddlers. Boy, I must have been a sight.
To top if off, on the way to my violin teacher's house, in a valent attempt to protect my darling violin, I hit my hand against the poles on the bus and let off a YELP. I sounded like a tormented dog. That's a bad thing right, right.
Anyway on a side note, ACSI IB talk today was sort of umm pointless hahaha, considering that we were one hour late. Damn extra lessons. But macs with yellows were crazy as usual. :D
I still want to go ACSI /: but why are the fees so goddamn high ): I don't want to be a financial burden to my parents!
On the other hand, I'm checking out RJC's DSA now. And there are like 2 options for you to DSA under: Aesthetics and Sports. Okay this is so great, we can't DSA under academic! Well actually that kinda makes sense, they get smart people from O LEVEL anyway. Why would they wanna DSA academically excelling students -.-
But I'm really reluctant to DSA under Aesthetics! I think I'll just be the joke of the day at auditions and well umm, music has so many strings attached (OOH how ironic, my violin has many strings attached too). Like if you get in under aesthetics DSA, you must take MEP join a particular CCA, etc etc. I don't want to take MEP in JC eew gross!
In addition, I'm checking out hwachong's DSA as well. And I'm wondering if Hwachong Institution = Hwa Chong JC cause I can't find a website for hcjc /: crap neverminddd. I gotta fill in my NJC DSA form and hand it up asap /:
So annoying, so many things to do but so little time. I must remember to write "programme notes" for my violin duets! ): I keep forgetting shitz.
OHMYGOD I HAVEN'T DONE ALKENES STRUCTURED AND THERE'S CHEMISTRY TOMORROW.
>:( I'M TIRED.
