St. Nicholas

Today was a very fun and crazy day! We sang very very loudly :D

Then cause it's my parents 20th wedding annivesary today, we went for dinner at NUSS. It was damn hilarious hahaha. We had swordfish for appetizers! & my grandma is freaking cute I swear. She told my sister indignantly "This restaurant is very horrible, they don't even bother to cook the vegetables! Look at this, it even has funny white sauce on it and the prawn is cold!" Goodness hahaha, that was the salad she was describing. & then it was the soup "AIYOH they on budget ah, put kacang puteh in the soup, no money to buy lotus roots ah!"
Then came the main course. & my sister said "You see, everything in this world revolves around school life. The appetizers are our everyday lessons, the main course represents the exams and dessert is HOLIDAYS!"
Hahaha, but dessert was the most HEELARIOUS! Cause it was self-service, I told my sister "Let's share a plate of dessert." She assured me she has exquisite taste and promptly went to get some dessert to share. Guess what, she returned with a couple of crackers (which were meant for decoration) & marshmellows covered with chocolate. -.-
But the funny part has yet to come, my grandma was eyeing the pot of chocolate fondue with doubt in her eyes, and she said "Wow, their red bean soup is very thick! Hmm I must try and see what it's like. Aiyoh, young people nowadays ah, very horrible leh! Dip sweets into red bean soup! Haiyoh, stop playing with your food!!!" Thank goodness we told her it wasn't red bean, or she would have happily scooped herself a bowl of thick swirling chocolate and drink it up -shudder.
Then on the way back home, we drove past SIM university. My grandpa said "This is a very good university, you'll must come here and study!" So naturally all of us were like "Singapore institute of management, a very good university?! You've got to be kidding. I'll prefer oxford anytime." & he answered with a damn serious face "But last year I came here to register for an economics course and the clerk just smiled and said they will call me soon to tell me if my application was successful. But one year already, still no phone call! See, they most be in high demand that's why even I can't qualify." -cues my sister, deliberately turning and whacking her head against the car window.
Oh gosh, my family can be so silly sometimes. :D
