We're back from Japan, Tokyo! Trip is damn bloody short, wished I could spend more time with Yellows (And eat more instant noodles). Anyway I think I'll be the first to properly blog about the trip. I have like no photos though, I didn't bring my camera. So I'm waiting for fellow yellows to send them over! Please send them over kay yellows I'm a poor deprived kid with no photos. Except for that hideous one of Amanda curled up like a prawn sleeping on the bus because I took that with my phone camera at the spur of the moment. Actually promised to put it in my blog, but sadly I'm afraid Amanda would do the same with some of my unglam photos. Better safe than sorry!
Anyway!
Reasons why Singapore is the best: (:1) Smoking is prohibited almost everywhere.In Tokyo, we had our first dinner with people smoking at the next table. That pissed WenMan damn alot, but she cheered up loads after buying her chocolates hahaha. Imagine eating ramen while breathing in second hand smoke! But we couldn't say anything except for curse, afterall, it isn't against the law in Japan to smoke in an airconditioned restaurant... Oh yeah it was hilarious there, we were gesticulating and whatever to try and get this lady waiter to understand us. After like 5 minutes, she went "ni men neng jiang zhong guo hua ma?" And all of us were like "KE YI KE YI WEI SHE ME MEI YOU ZAO SHUO!" Wth, she spoke chinese!
2) Dustbins can be found everywhere.In Tokyo, they apparently find dustbins very ugly, or so WengJun says. That's why you find one dustbin every kilometre or something. Damn sickening I tell you. They seem damn environmentally friendly cause no one litters and stuff, but they use damn alot of plastic bags!
3)Say goodbye to uncomfy sports shoes, say hello to SLIPPERS!Wahseh I wore those winter shoes there which were pretty high. And I have funny orhchers all over my leg now. Damn uncomfortable can. I swear I've never loved slippers more.
4)No need to take of layers of jackets when you enter a building,because you already are not wearing any. :D Idiot lah, damn cold can Tokyo! It wasn't cold exactly, but the wind was damn bloody chilling. Makes you shiver from head to toe, literally. But what is most annoying is that you start feeling like you're in an oven the moment you step into a building. Then you take your layers off and that is so damn troublesome. I didn't bring a windbreaker, because my mum insisted it was a waste of space. Lucky me, I experienced the winds much more than the rest -.- Mount Fuji was the worst, Disneyland was equally bad at night. To the extent that we all ran the distance back to the bus.
5) It takes you less than an hour to get from one end of Singapore to the other.I got motion sickness like damn frequent lah, and I forgot to bring my earpiece for my handphone so I couldn't listen to music for distraction ): Anyway I swear Claud's head goes 360 degrees round her neck whenever she sleeps. It's damn scary it looks like her head is going to roll off anytime or something.
But I guess being in Tokyo had its advantages too. For instance, I had instant noodles every night and nobody gives a damn about how unhealthy it is. Instand noodles with yellows + tiffany was damn fun. Uno was hilarious noisy, I can't believe sue&I lost to WenMan&Manda!
Amanda and Tiffany are the biggest pigs I've ever seen. Once they've fallen asleep, trying to wake them up is like trying to climb Mount Everest or something. After the four hours drive to Mount Fuji, I got damn prone to motion sickness and I don't know why.
Kabuki was freaking boring and a total waste of time. I left the notes the speaker gave us when we attended the workshop in the hotel. Smart huh? Kabuki itself was a tad bit more interesting I guess, but our seats were horrible, and MrCher said they were good seats somemore!
Disneyland was fun, but too much crowd. In the end, Claud & Sue & I didn't ride Thunder Mt (roller coaster) because the queue was too long. Spent the entire day at disneyland with Claud & Sue & Grace since we split into 2 groups... Grace is obsessed with that funny green alien hahahah. Claud is mad about Marie, that funny cat from aristocats. Suehern looks damn cute with two ponytails and Stitch ears :D
Mount Fuji was crazy cold but damn pretty.
Asakusa temple was pretty ordinary I guess, but damn huge. Alright I'm running out of things to talk about, or rather I can't think of them right now. Point is, I'm sleepy.
