DAY SEVEN

So we woke up in Paris and the hotel didn't provide breakfast. We took the train to the same shopping centre as yesterday where we had chinese food since its cheaper than any other food. The meal amounted to 70euros in total, daylight robbery. What's more, the place was supposed to be for chinese take aways so service was so so and there were barely enough tables for us to sit down and take our meal.

We then headed straight for the Louvre Museum. I wish we had spent longer there, but we were in a rush for time. We spent about 2hours there, only visiting Mona Lisa and the Egyptian collection.

Mona Lisa was tinier than I had imagined
No flash photography allowed. So I had to make sure I didn't smile too brilliantly, or I'll dazzle everyone else and get accused for flash photography.

I didn't understand the signs, and this sign was so tiny I didn't notice it. Which explains why we took half an hour to find Mona Lisa.

Finally my family decided to get out of stupid France and we drove to Germany. I got a huge headache on the way there and threw up after dinner. We managed to check into Meran hotel where we stayed for pretty reasonable rates. The hotel had a really cool lift which had a manual door. It's one of those old fashioned lifts. Damn cool. I'll upload the video of it next time.
