St. Nicholas
DAY SIXYay okay so we woke up in our van with cramped legs and all freezing since the temperature was -2 degrees celcius and we couldn't on the engine when we were sleeping. Drove around just outside the city centre to look for an affordable hotel. Alas, at 10am, we checked into ibis hotel where at least the receptionist could speak english (or was willing to speak english, most are too proud of their own language to do so)
We dumped our luggages and set off towards the nearby train station (it was a really long walk in the blistering cold) Bought train tickets which cost a bomb again. If I'm not wrong they cost us 35 euros in total? That's S$70, gosh. So we took the train to some sort of shopping centre and had macdonalds for lunch. Well, it was the only affordable thing there! And even so, lunch cost us 30 euros (S$60), it hurts to even think about it ouch.

Poor dad, he was exhuasted. After all, he drove till 2am at night and couldn't even catch a wink.

The view out of the train window. Their train is double decker by the way, pretty cool but awfully dirty. And it's not just because I hate France right now, it was really dirty. The corners of the cabin had cigarette stubs, sweet wrappers, and I even thought I saw a discarded tampon once eew!

This was what I had.

This is a Macdonald product that is only available in France. It's called the Le M'

This is the packaging.

Oh their big mac loooks the same as ours, no surprise there

My sister is a pig.
Anyway after macdonalds, we walked around outside the shopping centre abit, we took photos with a building which we thought was notre dame but then we found out it was not after we left the area -.-

All smiles (:

Sorry, I was making a face at the dirt on the ground over in the corner.

Notre Dame Cathedral? Nope, I don't know what this building is.

That's my sister, not me. I'm not that short :D
Ohyeah, the French are even worse than the British. They stare at our yellow jackets without caring that its a very rude thing to do. They continue to stare even when we stare back. Everyone there is so boring, jackets are either black or black. How totally creative. Nevermind staring, some even snigger at us openly. Cmon, you don't have to judg everyone by their clothes yknow.
After that, we took the train again to the Eiffel Tower.

The sign outside that said EiffelTour

Taken from the lift that we took all the way to the highest station. We couldn't see anything from way up there anyway, the fog was too serious.

At the 2nd highest station.

My sister seems tall ONLY because she was wearing boots. I was wearing sports shoes. I'm still taller okay.

I am a one-eyed monster hear me roar.

My brother actually wanted a solo photo with the Eiffel Tower, but looks like he can't have one with my sister and I around! :D
We then took the train back to our hotel. But somehow the train keeps skipping our stop. No matter how many times we got off the train and tried the next one and yadda. How annoying, apparently the train skips certain stations once its past seven pm so that the train system would be more efficient and less time consuming. Stupid system. Hmph.
We had Crossiants and other pastries for dinner which we bought from the nearby supermarket at our hotel. I detest France.
